Shipping — Movement with care

Each EmaEmoi piece begins its journey either in our studio or through carefully selected craft partners abroad, including Vietnam.

From there, it travels slowly, intentionally, and with care — across distances, materials, and hands — until it reaches yours.

Processing & delivery

​

Some pieces are ready to ship. Others are made in small batches or produced to order.

Estimated delivery times are always shown on the product page and may include:

• production time

• quality preparation & packaging

• international transit to Germany / EU

Because of the nature of small-scale production and cross-border logistics, slight delays may occur. We believe this is part of a slower, more considered way of making.

Shipping area

We currently ship within Germany and the European Union.

Shipping costs

​

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout before payment.

Responsibility during transit

​

Once your order has been handed over to the shipping carrier, responsibility for the parcel is transferred to the carrier.

For consumers, liability remains until the goods are delivered.
 

Returns — Thoughtful decisions

We design objects meant to last — in form, material, and meaning. We also understand that sometimes a piece may not feel like the right fit.

Right of withdrawal

​

If you are based in the EU, you have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order.

To exercise this right, simply contact us via email with your order details.

Return conditions

​

Returned items must be:

• unused

• in original condition

• in original packaging (where reasonably possible)

Once we receive and inspect the return, we will process your refund using the original payment method.

Personalised & made-to-order pieces

​

Items that are:

• made to order

• personalised

• or produced specifically to your specifications

are excluded from the right of withdrawal, as permitted under § 312g (2) No. 1 BGB.

These pieces are created uniquely for you and cannot be restocked.
 

Damages & issues

​

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within a reasonable time after delivery, including photos if possible.

We will take care of it — carefully and individually.
 

A final note

​

We work with materials that carry texture, variation, and imperfection as part of their identity.

Each piece is slightly different. That difference is not a flaw — it is the signature of the human hand and the process behind it.
